Welcome to MPV-Los Angeles!  We are so glad you are planning to join our group.

There are many people on the board and in volunteer positions that can help you with the decision of membership. Depending upon your interests and/or questions, you can set up a personal visit with our President, Ani Zonneveld; our Vice President/Treasurer, Katrina Daly Thompson; our Secretary Jamila Ezzani; or any of our members.

To become a member you must support the principles of our parent organization, Muslims for Progressive Values, listed in the membership packet and available online, and agree to abide by our bylaws, available online. 

You also must make a financial contribution of record, or a pledge to do so, to MPV-Los Angeles.  Having made your decision and met the above criteria, the next steps in the membership path are straightforward and easy.

• After you receive the packet you will be contacted by one of our board members or a volunteer from the Membership committee.
• Decide upon your financial commitment level. We understand this is a personal decision for you and one that can change over time and as your situation permits.
• Fill out and complete the registration forms (statement of intent and financial pledge).  Send or turn in your completed forms to any member of the Board in person or by post. By signing the statement of intent you are agreeing to participate as a member in the community life of MPV-Los Angeles and to support our community financially.
• Your name will be read into the minutes as a member at the next business and/or Board meeting.
